The Experience

Sessions typically start with a short consultation which gives you the chance to outline what you would like to get out of the session and gives me a chance to meet your dog and figure out the most effective way to work with you both to capture the best photos. Following that, we will walk around the shoot location stopping at various spots to capture a variety of photos including still portraits and action shots. I like to ask my clients to bring props they know will hold the dog’s focus, for example, their favourite toy or tennis ball. This really helps me to create the right compositions during the shoot and creates the best results. The price of the session also includes the post-processing of images which typically includes things like colour correction/enhancement and the removal of distracting objects from the photos like the dog’s lead. I aim to narrow down all the photos taken in the session down to 10-15 high-quality pictures which you will receive digital copies of so that you can use them over and over again.
